house warming party...

Lats night we we're invited to Mondana's house for a little get together and as a house warming party for her new house which we now like to call a "pad".

We arrived slightly later that the 7.30pm start time as indicated on the invitation due to a combination of waiting for Dan to arrive home for work and having a bite to eat. We needn't have bothered with the later. Mondana surpassed herself as a hostess (and made me very envious!) with free flowing drinks all evening and a "spread" that would put anyone to shame.

The food was delicious and we savoured lovely treats such as stuffed vine leaves, chilli, stir-fried veg, a mammouth cheeseboard and a very delicious cakes home-made chocolate fudge cake!

Our intentions was to get the last train home at 12.35pm but we finally made it home in a taxi at 2.45am!
