happy birthday daddy...

Today is my Daddy's 60th birthday! Happy Birhday Daddy!

We had a visit from my Mam and Dad last weekend so he had his presents early. On Saturday night we took him out for a meal at La Tasca. It seems to be our favorite place at the moment but the food is really nice. And they've never been for anything like that before so was a treat for them. We ordered 8 dishes plus bread but we could have done with a few more. It did mean though that we could fit in dessert and another bottle of wine ;o)

Back at home, my Dad was presented with his real present - a day driving a steam train at the East Somerset Railway. My dad is a bit of a train fanatic so he was very pleased with his present. It's not until the end of October so he'll have to wait a bit.
